Greetings, Flufferschnoots! Welcome to the June’s tail-end newsletter. :egwag:
I've done a few of these now and I enjoy the format. It lets me share my works and commissions without the pressure of posting daily, and without you having to check my socials all the time.
What's Been Going On?
June has been a trying month worldwide with Europe and parts of the US hitting record heat. Meanwhile here in the PNW it's been a wet, swampy mess. The rain put a stop to some of the outdoor ramble vlogs I'd been filming.
But behind the scenes, I've been keeping busy! I've toyed with “reviving” my old tech channel, but YouTube (and social media in general) is harder to get excited about these days. Instead, I've redirected that energy into fixing-up inefficiencies in my distribution network.
I have some really cool community updates coming soon! You can see some of them on Patreon already with a Vampire Egee collection for sale! I haven’t promoted it because I’m still figuring out just how to do it (posts vs zips?). I also asked a poll question on there regarding whether you view me as an audio or video creator.
Commissioned Art Works

I’ve gotten some stellar art commissions this month! Maudoggo made me a fantastic piece of Egee art this month! As you know, I've been roller skating lately, and this YCH perfectly captures that — plus the overall spirit of Pride in June. Hunting for references was a blast; I even found a pair of '70s suede skates that we adapted into his outfit.
I also commissioned this really neat animated sticker ych from Genystar! Seeing Egee animated is always such a treat. It’s a little surreal too because whenever I see Egee move, I know he is me but when he’s animated by an artist, he takes a life of his own!
New ASMR
The poetry-reading ASMR dropped and I'm really happy with it! I estimated around 30 minutes when I sampled it but nope! It came in at a classic 60-minute Egee. I just can't seem to make short ones, haha. There’s also a b-side pre-reading for supporters here and on Patreon.
I've already drafted lots of notes for Part 2, and I'm jazzed: the next leg of the journey takes a detour in a different direction from where I thought we'd go. There's so much poetry woven through human history; I love it!
Thank You!
Thank you so much for watching and listening to my work. I've got some time-off scheduled for the end of July but I should have a couple pieces for you out before then! 💙
