Hello Flufferschnoots! I'm thrilled to unveil a custom look I've poured myself into over the past month. The website has a whole new face! Almost a bit uncanny, don't you think?
During my downtime last month, I dove deep into Ghost theming. I'm tired of bland default templates! I thought hard about Egee and the world I'm building around him. I reached back to the 90s, overindulged in borders and campy CSS effects, and poof – this theme emerged.
I wanted something distinctly mine. No browsing Neocities for inspiration—just pick an existing theme as reference and start creating. After 140~ revisions, here it is!
How to get around Nalu
What's great about this theme is that it's still Ghost under the hood, so everything works pretty much just as before save for a new theme and a few quality of life enhancements:
Account & Search: Icon buttons in the top right handle account/subscription management and site-wide search. Find posts, pages, tags—pretty much anything.
Site Policies: I consolidated the privacy and terms of service to a single policies page, always accessible in the footer.
And comments are finally now enabled! I somehow overlooked this initially while learning how to administrate Ghost. It's just a toggle lol.

I'm done working on websites for now lol. Some features that were still in development when I burned out:
Image Gallery 🖼️
Ghost handles images pretty well, but there's no native enlargement. I'm working toward an FA-style art gallery where you can browse all my commissioned works of Egee and beyond!
Character Playlists 🎭
I have serial roleplays that deserve better organization. You can already use tags to filter by character, but I envision dedicated "character pages" with descriptions and all related content—commissioned art, roleplays, everything!
Homepage Refresh 🏡
The main landing page still looks a bit like a blog. That's fine for now but once I get more branding & members-only content, I want to get it federated and make it easier to discover new content.
