Hey Flufferschnoots! I’m sure you’ve heard the news about my old YouTube channel. It’s true: it is gone. In it’s stead will be my website where I’m now self-hosting my videos.

The OpenEgee channel met its demise at the start of the year. This happened directly after a very successful livestream where I played Katamino and talked about my Christmas. The channel ban came without warning. Out of nowhere, I woke up to this:

No links or evidence, just poof channel gone.

I’m still not exactly sure what violations it’s referring to. I got a warning back in June(ish) and resolved it by taking a quiz about acceptable content. The video that was flagged then was the final episode of Floofy Egee season 2.

This series got me into trouble back in May/June.

I consolidated my backups while editing this video. I have a lot to sift through but it looks like most of my popular videos survived. In the coming weeks (months?), I’ll upload the hits here and on Spotify.

Thank you all SO MUCH for your support.

You subscribe to my website to get emails and notifications via the WordPress app. You can also follow it on fedi and get notifications in your social media feeds! Just look for @egee@egee.xyz. You can also join my Discord server for updates!

I have Patreon where I publish my audios and early-access to videos, but it’s for +18 audiences. I’m working on a SFW-only option for supporters – stay tuned for that! 💙

@egee What did you use to put this together? I've been considering setting up a PeerTube or PixelFed.

It’s just self-hosted WordPress with the ActivityPub & Friends addon! It’s basically plug & play. It doesn’t _replace_ PeerTube or PixelFed, I don’t think.. It’s kind of it’s own thing!

@egee Awesome that it came together so nicely. Well done!
