Egee’s Audio Upgrade 🎤
Finally upgraded my audio interface! Hey Flufferschnoots! I’m really feeling the rambles this month. And now, with my new audio interface, I have an excuse to do another one!
The star of the show is the Yamaha G06MK. It’s such a good little unit. It’s a significant improvement over the Behringer.
I think I was overcritical of my old audio interfaces interfaces though. The smaller unit is just $40, which is cheap for an XLR mixer. The larger UMC202 model is $100, which is half the price of the Yamaha! And it does OK, save for some minor issues.

Egee’s Up-Close Crinkles & Tappies
Egee’s up-close Crinkles & Tappies! Hey Flufferschnoots! Ready for a new ramble? I’ve had a lot on my mind for topics. Mostly introspective topics but cathartic nonetheless.
I went all-in with the taps & crinkles with this one. The aluminum foil was probably a bridge too far but I liked it folded over itself. It also just sounded better in person.
I think the visuals are some of the best I’ve done yet. I placed my camera on my desk and adjusted the height so that it was just right. I think I need to work on the mic positioning though.
This video is the last I make with my old Behringer UMC202 audio interface. I purchased a new interface and I’m really pleased with it. Supporters can listen to the follow-up ramble where I talk about my audio equipment early on Patreon!

This piece was an epic to produce, quite possibly my most ambitious to date. Largely due to the soundscape which I created custom for this roleplay. You can listen to a medley of it here!
I planned for this all the way back in January! I had a loose idea of the scene but it all came together with the art piece. Illustrated by the lovely MerlinMakes.

Egee’s Breakfast Sounds Medley
Breakfast Sounds Medley Hello Flufferschnoots, I created this delectable sounds medley from samples and outtakes for the Breakfast Egee roleplay! This audio is all sound & no talking.
It is made of samples I took making breakfast. I put the Tascam on top of my coffee maker and very quietly made breakfast. I typically get sounds from Freesound but I wanted to capture my own for this one.
Sounds include:
- Eggs (carton, cracking, mixing, pouring, cooking)
- Pancakes (box, mixing, pouring, cooking)
- Bacon (preparing, cooking)

Can I Touch You Again? Remastered Video!
Can I Touch You? Again? Hello Flufferschnoots! It’s visual trigger time. This is part 2 in my set of touchy-feely visual triggers. I’m glad to see these go over so well because they are fun to make!
It was a challenge finding this one in my backups. I apparently re-used the folder for the original and.. overwrote part 1. I do not know why I did that. Producer Egee is silly sometimes.
Fixing an audio glitch with a transition For this remaster, I went through the original .wav file and normalized the audio levels. I also removed a number of audio imperfections that I didn’t know how to do when I first produced this. Yay, I’m learning!

Hey Flufferschnoots! It’s Valentines Day today and I have an exclusive BfEgee roleplay to share with you!
I produced this wholesome Valentines Day piece last year for my Flufferschnoots on YouTube and Patreon. When the YouTube channel got deleted, the video was lost to everyone. Now, it’s back on my own self-hosted website!
The card I used for the tapping noises was a pop-up card from Lovepop. They make really cute cards and gift sets. I highly recommend them!
I’m still excited about the new Audio section on the website. You can listen to the audio from this video there too, if you prefer.
