I went to the beach last week and brought Garrus on the Zoom H3 VR microphone. I went on a really nice walk with Garry and took this field recording of some beach waves.
I wasn't sure whether to title this River or Ocean waves because both are right there. It's the Columbia River at the mouth of the Pacific but since it was low tide, I guess calling it a river is more accurate.

I set the microphone on binaural mode, plopped it onto a rock and went for my walk. A little ways out front was the beach. It was a very typical spring day for the pnw coast. Cloudy and a little breezy but overall pretty nice.
I walked Garrus to the end of the beach which was riddled with sea shells and sand dollars. Crunch! He also got in the water and splashed around a bit. I recorded a little vlog which I shared with my Fabulous Flufferschnoot tier supporters!!
If you are on Freesound, consider following me on there! I'll be posting the raw version of the track soon. I've wanted to make field recordings for a looong time and this is what happens when you put your foot down and actually do it haha.
